DEEP THOUGHTS (AND SHALLOW ONES) FROM A WRITER-PRODUCER-POET-COLUMNIST WHO'S STILL TRYING TO FIGURE THINGS OUT
Sometimes just being ourselves is all we need. Win, lose, or draw, for Gwen and me this is one of those times.

Yes, it’s true. Every morning, I wake up, smile, and make the proclamation above.
Recently, the Brody family wake-ups have been particularly stressful because GtheB and I have been psyching up for another hospital trip, this time for a cardiac procedure. Gwen went into the hospital Tuesday morning and lo and behold, I was able to bring her home that same evening (with the help of the extraordinary Nong Hensel).
All is currently well. Very well.
Thanks, Nong and everyone else who has expressed their concern! (Gwen was cool about the situation, but I’ve been a nervous wreck.)

…Clearly, life works better with both.
Or, to put it into the words (actually hints and allusions from Anil Sthankiya, former TVWriter.Com student and current Enlightened Master who visited Gwen and me last week), “You haven’t lived life to its fullest until you die.”
Well, that’s my interpretation anyway, and, frankly, I find it soothing.
Thanks for staying with us, Anil. We hope you had as wonderful a time as we did!
